Ikkicon was great. . .one of the best cons I've been to in a while. Likely because I had good company, cosplayed for the first time in a year, and because I actually, for the first time ever, made more at the con than I spent! *yay-ness!* ^_^

I was pretty hesitant because last's years was terrible, mostly because of drama from my ex-roommate and the hotel was WAY over-crowded. Both problems were solved this year. Plenty of space, and I only ran into ex-roommate twice, and had to be physically held back from murdering her both times ^_^;

Finished my cosplay of Cooro, from +Anima in the hotel room about 20 minutes AFTER I was supposed to be lining up for the contest, with alot of help from my roommates and . Didn't get all my artwork finished like I had hoped, but *shrugs* I'll post both pictures of the cosplay and sketches later.

Did good business at artist's alley, but sadly more of it on the artisan crafts than on my prints again. Part of this was likely because I forgot to bring my portfolio, and the rest of it because we got shoved into the over-flow area, and weren't *actually* in the alley. Somehow or another, when we showed up to the con, they had no record of payment for the table or badges. Hmmm.

and I also sold our Kimono in the artshow for a whopping $160 bucks, much more than we had been hoping for. ^__________^ I think that we're going to aim for getting one done per con now, and hopefully a custom hand-painted one for Akon.

I'm thinking about giving up on doing any prints and switching over to doing purely artisan crafts for the cons from now on. I sold dozens and dozens of necklaces/chokers at the con, and I really enjoy my wig-making more than anything else that I've done so far. The only attention I really get at the cons is for my furries. And whereas I really enjoy drawing furries, I like drawing cheesecake too. ^_^;;

ALSO, THERE WAS ONE COMMISSION AT IKKICON THAT WASN"T PICKED UP. IF THAT WAS YOU, PLEASE EMAIL OR NOTE ME, AND I"LL MAIL IT TO YOU RIGHT AWAY!!!

I also had another disaster at this con that forced me to have to mail another print off to a commission. . .so I have to re-draw it still this week. I'll likely post a small-res version of it up here. .. . soooo adorable!!!
